93 Points, James Suckling. Notes of ripe dark fruit with toasted spices, walnuts, dark chocolate, and graphite. Full and dense with a bed of ripe, plush tannins. Firm and a little chewy with a deep dark-fruited backbone and a polished, chalky, crushed stone finish. Drink or hold.

Drawn from fruit sourced from Calistoga to Coombsville, it offers up attractive scents of ripe cherries, baking spices and vanilla, plus a hint of sage.
